Proactive Martial arts runs Novice fight nights for students within the club to be able to compete in a professionally run fight show under WKA (World Kickboxing Association) rules.
The difference with our fight nights is it’s all about the student being able to learn in a safe environment where the fight will be stopped if it is believed to be a miss match rather than somebody getting seriously hurt. This way it puts the student’s best interest first and not the clubs. Students can have up to three of these fights before moving onto Amateur fights. We have had 3 of these fight nights over the last twelve months with no serious injuries.
Fights are Refereed and Judged by former NZ and Australasian Thai boxing champions.
