All looking good with eleven fights on the card tonight and two lots of new entertainment. We also will have door sales from 6pm.

Well done to everybody who graded today in the Panther gathering. It was a fantastic to see such a high quality of skills with so many on the floor. I know there were many nervous students today who performed outstandingly. I must also say a big thankyou to everybody who helped out at the after function party for the children this afternoon and to the many donations of food which we will be donating to local services this week. We got much more than we anticipated hence the two massive containers over flowing. Those in need this Christmas will greatly appreciate the generosity that so many Proactive students and families have shown today.

The Panther grading is on this Sunday 22nd November. Doors open at 9:30am grading starts at 10am sharp. As this will be our biggest grading yet please make sure you get there on time.

Yes we have a group who have organised bringing over Matthew Ball from Melbourne on the weekend of 4/5/6 December.
Matthew started training in Systema via Alex Kostic at a 4-day training camp. Since then Matthew has travelled to Serbia to train with Alex and has brought Alex back to Australia for 3 weeks of intense workshops. He has also trained with other top Systema exponents including Martin Wheeler and Andre Bisaz.
Matthew has always continued to increase his knowledge, training locally with the likes of “John” Wayne Parr & Kostya Tszyu and overseas, in Taiwan, at the Shaolin Temple in China, Japan, Serbia, The Czech Republic, Hong Kong and has trained in Thailand regularly over the last 17 years. Some of you will know Matthew as the person who organizes the Thailand tours for BJMA which we have been going on for the last couple of years. Keep an eye out at your club for posters and info on how you can register for this event. Numbers are limited.

Our Proactive summer 09 clothing range will be available from today. We have black sleeveless hoodies and black T-shirts. We have sold twenty today already so you are going to have to be fast to get one.

Tickets now available for Club Carnage 4 from any Proactive Club or from the Christchurch Martial Arts Shop in High Street from Thursday 5 November.
