On Wednesday the 13 May we have a fun Adult/Tigers night. If you are after more info see any of the Tiger instructors at Riccarton.

I have had fantastic feed back on last weeks sparring class, so we will be having another on Thursday the 14 May at 8:10pm. Class numbers will be limited to 30 so first in applies and you must be orange or over in a Proactive system. Put your name down on the sign in sheet at Riccarton.

Next Thursday 30th April at 8:10pm we will be playing the fights on the large screen at the Riccarton Club of the Proactive guys who fought in Thailand this year. We will also show some of the other highlights of the trip. All Proactive members and friends are welcome.

No training this ANZAC weekend Saturday 25.

We now have a new list at Riccarton for those that would like to fight at the next Proactive fight night on Saturday the 18 of July. If you cannot make it down to Riccarton make sure you give your name to your instructor in the next two weeks so they can put you forward. Just because you put your name down it will not guarantee you a fight as it will depend on other factors like experience, weight, etc. Remember we only have room for 10 fights.

Well done to everybody who graded in the weapons grading on Saturday. I’m impressed with the level of skills shown already and look forward to the development with new weapons now.
Also thank you to everybody who turned out for the level 1 Instructors class today. We will be having another level 1 in June and a level 2 in August. You must complete a level 1 course first before being able to attempted a level 2.

At 8pm Thursday 23rd April at Riccarton we will be running a fully supervised sparring class for any Proactive students in any system that are orange rank and over. This is an opportunity to try your skills against other students from other clubs and other systems. You must put your name down on the list at Riccarton if you are keen for the class before Thursday.

This Saturday 18th April we have the weapons grading on at Riccarton starting at 10am. Make sure you are on time if you are grading.
Normal classes will also be on.

Now that we are starting to head towards winter I I’m starting to see students with colds etc. Please if you are not feeling well do not come to training as you only give it to other students.
