On Saturday the 13 of September at 9am at Riccarton we will be running a class for anybody training for Shodan Ho (Black Belt). This will be open to all browns and junior black belts, even if your not grading at the 08 Senjo you are welcome to attend. If you are planing on grading this year you must be there. With such large numbers now going for higher rank gradings it’s important to keep consistency and these training days will help with that.

We have had several requests of running classes for parents while children train. So starting on the 4th of August at Riccarton we are going to be running an Adult martial arts class on a Monday and Wednesday at the same time as the Panthers. This will give parents the opportunity to train while their children train in separate classes.

Those attempting 1st Dan at the end of the year need to be at the special class at Riccarton on Saturday 2nd August. This class will be from 9am till 11am and will cover all the requirements for the grading. It will also be open to higher rank black belts.

Papanui will be introducing Proactive’s second Xtreme (teenage) Martial Arts class on the 5th of August. This class is for 12 to 15 year olds and is specifically tailored towards the needs and desires in martial arts development for this age group.
We are currently running this very successfully at Riccarton and after several enquiries we have managed to organise classes at Papanui as well.
Class times will be
Tuesday and Wednesday
6:30pm till 7:20pm

Those students attempting Green or over this Thursday 3rd July need to get to training before 5:30pm for the 5km run first. Everybody else the grading starts at 6pm.
