Our new hoodies are here for winter. Last year we sold out in less than two weeks so we have doubled our order this year. It will still be first in, first served.

This coming weekend 31st of May and Monday 2nd June Riccarton and Cashmere Clubs will be Closed. If you normally train on one of these days you are welcome to make up a lesson on another day or you could visit Templeton which will be open.:)

It was fantastic to see Dai Shihan Charles Chadwick and Shihan Nick Randle at training last night to over see a practice run for the up coming 3rd Dan grading. Also now that Dai Shihan is living in Christchurch we hope to see more of him at training.

Thanks to the instructors who did a fantastic job looking after things while Anna and I were away at the Martial Arts Super Show in Sydney. We had a fantastic time catching up with other instructors and friends from OZ and the states.

Some highlights had to be catching up with Shihan Richard Norton and his wife Judy again and training with Fariborz from the states. I certainly managed to empty and refill my cup with new training concepts on the trip and look forward to sharing them with you over the coming months.

We had a fantastic night last Tuesday at Riccarton Thai boxing with a surprise visit from Hiriwa Te Rangi. Hiriwa even jumped on the floor to take the advance class with some new training concepts, which everybody really enjoyed. We look forward to the next visit. Hiriwa is also fighting here in Christchurch on the 24 May.
